Kongra in Wakhi language
Kongra in Wakhi language means tower or higher place, refers to ascending higher level of knowledge and learning. Kongra is an initiative to promote and synergies local and indigenous knowledge to contemporary teaching and learning. The founder Mr. Aman Ullah is the pioneer of girls’ education in his native village Shimshal Hunza aims to provide knowledge and learning opportunities for disadvantaged people of remote areas. Kungra Research & Development ‘KRD’ is registered as a social enterprise with SECP in 2020, under section 16 of Companies Act, 2017
